Have you been greeting the day feeling invigorated and inspired like we have lately? Wildflowers are blooming, birds are chirping, and the sun is shining here in the Southwest. It’s like waking up to an evermore magical dream.
If you ask our team of storytellers, it’s also the perfect time for a love story!
Today, the fairy tale we’re reminiscing over can be no other than Kyla and Sean's New Mexican wedding day. Filled with joy, friendship, and gratitude, this couple’s celebration of unity illuminates our very favorite parts of wedding season.
We first met Kyla and Sean post-proposal, love bubble — that is, at their engagement session!
Engagement sessions are essential, and one of our very favorite things, for a number of reasons. They give our team the opportunity to be immersed in the couple's unique connection before the flurry of activity on the wedding day, to start.
Plus, if it’s a really special session like it was with Sean and Kyla, we get to build a genuine friendship with them, too!
And, as you can tell by the authenticity and love that pours out of their smiles, becoming friends with Sean and Kyla was as easy as pie.
Just as sweet, too!
We love posing our couples — making them feel comfortable and confident in front of the lens is our whole job. But with Sean and Kyla, not a note was needed. Both husband and wife grinned from ear to ear, taking perfect photo after perfect photo all day.
The couple’s dreamy exit, complete with cheers and confetti, was our favorite part of their wedding day. When a few pieces of fluttering confetti landed in Kyla’s mouth, we giggled along with her as Sean carefully and lovingly picked them out.
Special thanks to Sean, Kyla, and little Theo who provided unparalleled cuteness on their wedding day. We’ll be remembering and reliving this day for years to come!
